Haryo Baskoro is an Indonesian qualified lawyer. His practice focuses on aviation, banking & finance, and general corporate matters.
Prior to his appointment as Partner of Dwipo Lubis Baskoro & Partners, Haryo was a Senior Associate at the Jakarta associate office of Norton Rose Fulbright Australia. Haryo also spent almost 7 years with Indonesian firm Makarim & Taira S.
Haryo has advised prominent International corporations (including banks, aircraft leasing companies, and airlines) in a range of aviation transactions for more than a decade (including operating lease, finance lease, lease novation, sale and leaseback, sale and purchase of aircraft, aircraft repossession).
In banking and finance Haryo has advised prominent financial institutions in a range of cross-border financing (including cross-border financing to various Indonesian companies in the field of coal mining and oil and gas). Haryo has also advised prominent banks on a range of banking regulatory issues (such as derivative products, bank secrecy, risks managements, capital Tier 1, and Basel III issues).
Haryo is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia - PERADI) and the Indonesian Aviation Law Society (Masyarakat Hukum Udara). He is the firm’s Head of Corporate & Banking Practice Group.
