Muhammad Ikhsan is an Indonesian qualified lawyer. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 2008, majoring in Economic Law. His practice focuses on aviation, banking and finance, shipping, and general corporate matters.
Ikhsan joined Dwipo Lubis Baskoro & Partners as a Partner in 2017 after gaining solid experience with other prominent law firms in Jakarta, both local and international firms, for almost a decade. In one of his previous law firms, he was a member of the aviation practice recognized by Asian-Mena Counsel as Indonesian Aviation Firm of the Year for 2016, following survey of 1,300 in-house counsel across Asia.
Ikhsan has represented many major companies, banks, financial institutions and aircraft leasing companies in a wide range of aviation transactions, cross-border financings (including shipping financings in relation to various FSRUs and FPSOs), and other domestic and international transactions.
Ikhsan is considered by clients to be “a skilled young lawyer” (The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, 2018). He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia - PERADI).
