Our late Haryo Baskoro was an Indonesian qualified lawyer. His practice focuses on aviation, banking & finance, and general corporate matters.
Prior to his appointment as Partner of Dwipo Lubis Baskoro & Partners, Haryo was a Senior Associate at the Jakarta associate office of Norton Rose Fulbright Australia. Haryo also spent almost 7 years with Indonesian firm Makarim & Taira S.
Haryo has advised prominent International corporations (including banks, aircraft leasing companies, and airlines) in a range of aviation transactions for more than a decade (including operating lease, finance lease, lease novation, sale and leaseback, sale and purchase of aircraft, and aircraft repossession).
In banking and finance, Haryo has advised prominent financial institutions in a range of cross-border financing (including cross-border financing to various Indonesian companies in the field of coal mining and oil and gas). Haryo has also advised prominent banks on a range of banking regulatory issues (such as derivative products, bank secrecy, risks managements, capital Tier 1, and Basel III issues).
Haryo was a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia - PERADI) and the Indonesian Aviation Law Society (Masyarakat Hukum Udara). He was the firm’s Head of Corporate & Banking Practice Group.
Haryo was recommended by Global Law Lawyer for Banking & Finance in Indonesia (2014) and selected as “Rising Star” for Aviation Practice in Indonesia by the Expert Guides (a legal journal published by Euromoney) (2014).
Haryo passed away due to dengue fever on Wednesday, 6 December 2017 9:45 PM JKT time. His memories, inspirations, and mostly, his kind heart, will be dearly remembered by all of us in Dwipo Lubis Baskoro & Partners.
